The Lenoir-Rhyne University Athletics Department is pleased to announce the hiring of Cameron Womack as the new Assistant Director of the Bears Club in August of 2026.
Womack helps strengthen relationships with Lenoir-Rhyne alumni, donors, and supporters while advancing the mission and success of Lenoir-Rhyne Athletics. The Lenoir-Rhyne Bears Club, the second-oldest collegiate athletics fundraising organization in North Carolina, plays a vital role in providing financial support for all Bear athletic programs.
Womack joined the Bears Club after serving the previous eight years as Executive Assistant to the President at Lenoir-Rhyne. During that time, she played a vital role in supporting the work of two university presidents, the Board of Trustees, and countless campus partners. She collaborated on numerous university initiatives, including strategic planning efforts, presidential events, Board of Trustees operations, and the 2025 Presidential Inauguration.
Womack and her husband Brian (longtime Bears Club members) reside in Hickory and have a daughter, Reagan.
