Dallas Renzi

Dallas Renzi joined the Lenoir-Rhyne staff as an Athletic Communications Graduate Assistant in the Fall of 2024.

Renzi comes to Lenoir-Rhyne after two years at the University of Mobile in Saraland, AL. Dallas was a work-study for the athletic communications department at UM where he specialized in producing home athletic broadcast events for all sports. During his senior year, he did play-by-play for all sporting events and occasionally worked on public address announcing and live stats. Dallas graduated with a Bachelor's in Broadcast/Journalism from the University of Mobile in the Spring of 2024. He also worked for Jockive Sports as a play-by-play announcer from 2021-2024 where he broadcasted multiple conference tournaments with the ACCC.

He also graduated with an Associates in Liberal Arts from Coastal Alabama Community College in Bay Minette, AL where he was a baseball manager. During his time with Coastal South, Dallas not only announced their home games and ran behind the scenes, but he also ran Coastal's social media updating fans on schedule changes, final scores, and game-day graphics from 2021-2022. Over 800 followers followed the Sun Chiefs baseball social media pages during Dallas' time at Coastal.  

Renzi has years of experience in announcing sports such as volleyball, baseball, softball, football, basketball, and soccer. He started broadcasting in 2017 with the Spanish Fort High School baseball team where he called over 80 home/away Toros baseball games. He has always wanted to work and be involved in sports especially calling events from a young age. 

Dallas is from Daphne, Alabama and graduated from Spanish Fort High School in 2020. He is the son of John Renzi and Heather Renzi, and has one brother, Drew.
