Deanna Unger joined the Lenoir-Rhyne Athletic Department as an Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance in January of 2026.
Prior to her time in Hickory Unger was an Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance at fellow South Atlantic Conference institution Limestone University. She also served as an Assistant Athletic Director at Spartanburg Methodist College from 2020-2024.
A former student-athlete, Unger played volleyball at Converse, graduating in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a concentration in Humas Resource Management. She earned her Masters in Management - Professional Leadership from Converse in 2020.
