Lydia Stonerook joined the Lenoir-Rhyne Athletic Training staff in the Summer of 2024. She is responsible for coverage of Football, Spirit, and Baseball.
She comes to LR after two years working as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Appalachian State. During her time at App State, she was inducted into the Cratis D. Williams Society of Outstanding Graduate Students and was awarded the Athletic Training Graduate Student Award in 2024. During graduate school, Stonerook worked rotations with App State Football, Lenoir-Rhyne Men's Basketball, Football, Men's Lacrosse, and Mississippi State Football.
Stonerook is a BOC certified athletic trainer (ATC) and licensed in the state of North Carolina (LAT).
Originally from Leesburg, Virginia, Stonerook graduated from Virginia Tech in 2022 with a B.S. in Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise. She earned her M.S. in Athletic Training from Appalachian State in 2024.
