Ra'veion Hargrove

Raveion Hargrove joined the Lenoir-Rhyne football staff as a running backs coach prior to the 2026 campaign. 

Hargrove comes to Hickory after spending 2025 as a running backs graduate assistant at the University of West Florida. Under his guidance, TJ Lane and Jay Sharp let a potent rushing offense that ran for 2179 yards and 28 total touchdowns. Lane, an All-GSC First Team honoree, ranked 32nd in the country with 11 touchdowns and 48th with 869 rushing yards. 

As a player, Hargrove was a standout at all levels. He began his career at Bowling Green, running for 127 yards and a touchdown and catching 10 passes for 113 yards and a score. A dynamic returner, he returned 25 kicks for 430 yards. After a year earning his Associates Degree at Garden City Community College, Hargrove transferred to the University of West Florida. He played the 2021 and 2022 season's with the Argos, breaking out during the latter campaign. He ran for 843 yards on 101 attempts in 2022, the 53rd most yards in NCAA Division II. For his final year of college he transferred to East Texas A&M and led the team in rushing touchdowns and ranked second in rushing yards, despite playing just six games. For his career he totaled 1,321 yards on the ground, eight rushing touchdowns, 29 receptions for 246 yards, and two receiving touchdowns.

Originally from Trotwood, Ohio, Hargrove was Gatorade's Ohio Player of the Year and runner-up for Mr. Ohio Football during his senior year. That same year he ran for 2,264 yards and 30 touchdowns to lead Trotwood-Madison to a 15-0 record and the Division III State championship.
