Senior guard Brittany Mitch (McLean, Va.) led the Bears with a game-high 27 points to go along with seven rebounds in the victory.

Forward JaToya Kemp (Elizabethtown, N.C.) led UNC Pembroke with 19 points while Chevoya Jackson (Goldsboro, N.C.) and Illya Hunt (Raleigh, N.C.) each chipped in 12 points in the loss.
