Hickory, N.C. ? The Lenoir-Rhyne University Volleyball Team (3-0) remained undefeated on the season with a pair of 3-0 victories over Belmont Abbey (25-16, 25-16 and 25-21) and Coker (28-26, 25-23 and 25-17) Friday on Day One of the Moretz Sports Invitational at Shuford Memorial Gymnasium.

Against Belmont Abbey (0-1), senior outside hitter Kassi Henry (Denver, N.C.) led L-R with 10 kills while freshman setter Meredith Lutz (Newton, N.C.) finished with 32 assists in the win.

In the night cap versus Coker (0-2), freshman outside hitter Katelin Wensley (Advance, N.C.) tallied a game-high eight kills while Lutz added 28 assists and seven digs.

Lenoir-Rhyne hosts UNC Pembroke (9:00 a.m.) and Pfeiffer (1:00 p.m.) Saturday on the final day of the tournament.
