Montreat, N.C. ? The Lenoir-Rhyne University Volleyball Team (13-2) swept Montreat College (10-5), 3-0, on the road Thursday night at McAlister Gymnasium.? With the win, the Bears improved to 17-0 all-time against the Lady Cavaliers.? The Bears won by scores of 25-20, 25-21 and 25-19.

The Bears were led by sophomore outside hitter Brooke Christenbury (Statesville, N.C.) and freshman outside hitter Cayla Crawley (Bryson City, N.C.) with eight kills each while freshman setter Meredith Lutz (Newton, N.C.) tallied 34 assists in the victory.?

Sophomore libero Marrissa Church (Statesville, N.C.) added 10 digs as well for Lenoir-Rhyne.

Lenoir-Rhyne next travels to Banner Elk, N.C., to face Lees-McRae on Tuesday beginning at 7:00 p.m.
