Brevard, N.C. ? The Lenoir-Rhyne University Volleyball Team remained unbeaten on the season after coming from behind to defeat Brevard College, 3-2 (18-25, 21-25, 25-15, 25-16 and 15-10), Tuesday evening at Boshamer Gymnasium in the South Atlantic Conference opener for both teams.?

Freshman outside hitter Katelin Wensley (Advance, N.C.) led Lenoir-Rhyne with a double-double (10 kills and 13 digs) as the Bears rallied from a 2-0 deficit to take the win.? Bear sophomore libero Marrissa Church (Statesville, N.C.) added a match-high 21 digs while freshman setter Meredith Lutz (Newton, N.C.) dished out 32 assists in the win.
For Brevard, Bethany Stevenson (Prattville, Ala.) finished with 33 assists and 11 digs and Brooke Seaman (Spring Hill, Fla.) tallied 11 kills in the losing effort.
Lenoir-Rhyne next competes in the Limestone Southeast Crossover Tournament in Gaffney, S.C., beginning Friday with matches against Augusta State (3:00 p.m.) and Mount Olive (5:00 p.m.).
