Hickory, N.C. - The Chestnut Hill (Pennsylvania) Women's Tennis Team (10-8) defeated Lenoir-Rhyne University (0-7) by an 8-1 score Friday afternoon at Hickory High School.

L-R's lone win came at No. 6 singles when freshman Amanda Young (Claremont, N.C.) defeated Chestnut Hill's Sarah Doherty (Southampton, Pa.), 6-1, 6-1.

Lenoir-Rhyne hits the road in search of its first victory of the year Saturday when it travels to Anderson, S.C., to take on Anderson in a South Atlantic Conference match.
