Harrogate, Tenn. - The sixth-ranked Lincoln Memorial Men's Basketball Team (17-1, 7-1) defeated Lenoir-Rhyne (8-9, 4-4), 82-63, Saturday night at Tex Turner Arena in a South Atlantic Conference game.? The loss put an end to the Bears' four-game winning streak.

Lincoln Memorial's Jake Troyli (Largo, Fla.) finished with a game-high 16 points and was one of five Railsplitters to score in double figures.?

Brandon Armstrong (Decatur, Ga.) and Vincent Bailey (Jennings, Fla.) added 14 points each for Lincoln Memorial, who remained in sole possession of second place in the league standings and is still one game behind Anderson.

Lenoir-Rhyne, despite the setback, was led by senior guard Kevin Davis' (Charlotte, N.C.) 13 points.? L-R senior forward Jeff Thomas (Chapel Hill, N.C.) came off the bench to score 12 points as well.

The Railsplitters jumped out to an 18-4 lead just 6:29 into the contest en route to a 43-26 halftime lead and never looked back.

For the game, Lincoln Memorial shot 48 percent (29-of-60) and turned the ball over just three times in its second consecutive victory.

Lenoir-Rhyne did shoot 82 percent (18-of-22) from the free throw line and junior forward B.J. Beasley (Charlotte, N.C.) pulled down a game-high nine rebounds in the losing effort.

Lenoir-Rhyne hosts Tusculum in its next South Atlantic Conference game while Lincoln Memorial hosts league-rival Carson-Newman.? Both contests are scheduled for Wednesday beginning at 8:00 p.m.
