Hickory, N.C. - The Anderson Women's Basketball Team (6-1, 2-0) hit a game-winning three-pointer with 0.6 seconds remaining to stun Lenoir-Rhyne (4-1, 1-1), 71-70, Saturday afternoon in South Atlantic Conference action at Shuford Memorial Gymnasium.
The Trojans' Emily Willoughby (Mount Pleasant, S.C.) hit the trey on an in-bounds pass from Sierra Simpson (Simpsonville, S.C.) to lift Anderson to the win.
Anderson, which won its sixth straight game, used a balanced scoring attack with five players in double figures led by Jasmine Franklin's (Simpsonville, S.C.) 14 points.
