Brevard, N.C. – The Lenoir-Rhyne Women's Basketball Team (12-6, 8-4) increased its winning streak to four games with a 64-51 victory over Brevard (5-11, 1-11) Saturday afternoon at Boshamer Gymnasium in a South Atlantic Conference contest.

Justyce Swango (Virginia Beach, Va.) added 11 points as the Bears swept the season series from the Tornados.
Brevard's Madison Lenox (Raleigh, N.C.) tallied a double-double – 20 points and 14 rebounds – but it wasn't enough as the Tornados suffered their sixth straight loss. Annalee Bollinger (Hickory, N.C.) added 16 points in the setback for the Tornados.
Lenoir-Rhyne held a 46-39 edge entering the final period and scored the first seven points of the fourth stanza to take control. Senior forward
Brooke Robinson (Vale, N.C.) added 10 points for the Bears, who also held a 32-25 advantage on the boards.
Lenoir-Rhyne returns home to take on Wingate in a South Atlantic Conference game Wednesday evening at 6:00 p.m., at Shuford Memorial Gymnasium. Brevard, meanwhile, plays on the road against Tusculum Wednesday at 6:00 p.m., as well.
