Hickory, N.C. – The Lenoir-Rhyne Volleyball Team (8-8) ended a six-match losing streak with a 3-0 sweep of Francis Marion (6-11) Friday evening at Shuford Memorial Gymnasium. The Bears downed the Patriots by scores of 25-17, 25-19 and 25-13.

• Lenoir-Rhyne freshman outside hitter
Taylor Prall (Tipp City, Ohio) led the way with 14 kills while freshman right side hitter
Maggie Bogart (Shawnee, Kan.) added 10 kills in the victory.
• The Bears hit a season-high .419 on the night and added to their league-high in blocks with nine total on the evening.
• Francis Marion was led by Kayla Arthur (Holly Springs, N.C.) with 12 kills but the Patriots hit just .114 for the match.

• Lenoir-Rhyne moves back to .500 on the year and says goodbye to its six-match losing skid.
