Hickory, N.C. – The Lenoir-Rhyne University Women's Soccer Team (9-4-1, 4-2-1) bounced back from a disappointing setback last weekend to down Coker (2-9-1, 1-7), 2-0, in a South Atlantic Conference match Wednesday night at the Moretz Sports – Athletic Complex.

STATS OF THE MATCH:
•    Lenoir-Rhyne's goals came from freshman midfielder 
Stephanie Figueiredo (Wilmington, Mass.) and sophomore midfielder 
Aqsa Mushtaq (Bradford, ENGLAND).  Both players – off the bench – scored their third goals of the year.
•    LR senior midfielder 
Elizabeth Dula (Taylorsville, N.C.) – making her first start of the year – was credited with the assist on a free kick on Figueiredo's goal at the 34:41 mark of the first half.
•    Lenoir-Rhyne senior goalkeeper 
Alayna Morris (Westminster, Md.) was credited with the victory and her fifth shutout of the year.  Morris stopped two shots.  Coker's goalkeeper, Shelby Middleton (Lilburn, Ga.), made nine saves despite the loss.
 
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
•    With the victory over Coker, Lenoir-Rhyne is guaranteed its 10th consecutive winning season.
