Wingate, N.C. – The Lenoir-Rhyne University Women's Soccer Team (10-4-1, 5-2-1) used a match-winning goal just 2:16 into the second overtime by sophomore midfielder
Aqsa Mushtaq (Bradford, ENGLAND) to down Wingate (8-3, 7-2), 1-0, Saturday on the road in a South Atlantic Conference contest at Pride Park.

Alayna Morris (Westminster, Md.) made four saves and picked up her sixth shutout of the season. Wingate's goalkeeper, Alexis Jones (Midway Park, Ohio), took the loss despite allowing just one goal while stopping four shots. Both keepers played the entire match.
• Lenoir-Rhyne held a 10-9 edge in shots taken.
• Mushtaq scored her fourth goal of the year and second match-winner of the season.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
• Lenoir-Rhyne won at Wingate for the first time since the 1998 campaign. Despite the drought, the Bears have tied the Bulldogs on their home turf three times: 2002, 2013 and 2015.
• Lenoir-Rhyne is 2-0-1 in overtime contests this season.
