Gaffney, S.C. – The Young Harris Men's Soccer Team (12-3-2) advanced to the Second Round of the NCAA Division II Playoffs with a 2-0 victory over Lenoir-Rhyne (10-4-3) Thursday night at Saints Field.

STATS OF THE MATCH:
• Both of the Mountain Lions' goals came in the second half courtesy of Marco Micaletto (Rome, ITALY) and Macauley King (Narborough, ENGLAND). King's score came off a penalty kick.
• Young Harris held an 11-10 edge in shots taken while Alex Iglesias (Alicante, SPAIN) earned the shutout victory in goal while making a crucial save late in the second half.
• Lenoir-Rhyne senior goalkeeper
Zach King (Altamonte Springs, Fla.) suffered the loss despite making three stops.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
• Young Harris and Lenoir-Rhyne were meeting for the first time in school history.
• The Bears were making their third appearance ever in the NCAA Division II Playoffs (2006 and 2016 were the others).
• In the Southeast Regional Tournament, Young Harris was seeded fourth while Lenoir-Rhyne was seeded fifth. Lenoir-Rhyne is ranked No. 22 in NCAA Division II.
