Hickory, N.C. - The Lenoir-Rhyne Men's Tennis Team (4-1) increased its winning streak to three matches with a 6-3 triumph over Emmanuel (Georgia) (2-8) Friday afternoon in a home contest at Hickory High School.
Lenoir-Rhyne's win was spearheaded by junior
Tomas Hons (Valasske Mezirici, CZECH REPUBLIC) and freshmen
Alex Ayguavives (Barcelona, SPAIN) and
Tales Miranda (Sao Pauo, BRAZIL), who all won at singles and doubles.
Lenoir-Rhyne takes on Mars Hill in its South Atlantic Conference opener on Saturday morning in Mars Hill, N.C., at 10:30 a.m. Emmanuel plays at Erskine in Due West, S.C., on Thursday at 2:00 p.m.
