Duncan, S.C. – The Lenoir-Rhyne Softball Team (16-2), ranked No. 12 in NCAA Division II, made it 10 victories in a row with a pair of wins on Sunday – 2-0 over Flagler and 6-3 over Augusta – at the Mid-South Classic at Tyger River Park.

Brandi Parks (Roaring River, N.C.) threw a six-hit shutout, her fourth of the season, to lead the Bears to the win. Parks also struck out six batters and improved to 8-0 on the year.

Sarah Kenley (Charlotte, N.C.) drove in both runs for the Bears with a RBI double in the third inning and a solo home run in the fifth frame.
Flagler's Ally Marcano (Middletown, N.Y.) fell to 9-2 on the year after suffering the loss despite going the distance and allowing just two runs.

The Bears rallied from a 3-1 deficit to take its second victory of the year of the Jaguars.

Dakota Keller (Mooresboro, N.C.) tied the game at three with a solo home run in the fourth inning before senior first baseman
Sydney Landreth (Disputanta, Va.) gave the Bears the lead for good with a two-run single in the sixth frame. Keller now has a team-leading five home runs on the year.

Ty Triplett (Valdese, N.C.) came on in relief to earn the win. Triplett (5-0) did not allow a run in nearly five innings of work.
Augusta's Lydia Hausman (Thomaston, Ga.) had two hits and two runs batted in but Kristen Mills (Harlem, Ga.) fell to 1-7 after taking the loss.
Lenoir-Rhyne returns home to face Limestone in a doubleheader on Wednesday, March 1, beginning at 3:00 p.m., at Bears Field.
