Brevard, N.C. – The Lenoir-Rhyne Women's Tennis Team (8-8, 2-4) shut out Brevard (1-14, 0-6), 9-0, Sunday afternoon on the road in a South Atlantic Conference contest.
Lenoir-Rhyne had three players – sophomores
Iulia Ponomareva (Smolensk, RUSSIA) and
Sara Kalkenova (Astana, KAZAKHSTAN) and freshman
Sophia Aguilar di Camillo (Panama City, PANAMA) – all win in singles and doubles competition.
Lenoir-Rhyne hosts Lincoln Memorial on Friday, March 31, at 2:00 p.m., in a South Atlantic Conference match at Hickory High School. Brevard plays on the road next Saturday, March 25, against Mars Hill beginning at 1:00 p.m.
