Mars Hill, N.C. – The Lenoir-Rhyne Men's Lacrosse Team (8-1, 5-0), ranked No. 11 in NCAA Division II, reeled off its eighth straight victory with an 8-5 triumph over Mars Hill (2-5, 0-4) Sunday afternoon in a South Atlantic Conference game at Meares Stadium.

Collier Stone (Marietta, Ga.) scored four goals while freshman midfielder
Eric Dickinson (Charlotte, N.C.) added two goals as the Bears remained the lone unbeaten team in league play. Dickinson has a conference-leading 32 goals on the year.
Mars Hill's Alex Lipsky (Marietta, Ga.) scored a team-high three goals but the Lions suffered their fourth straight setback.
Lenoir-Rhyne and Mars Hill were knotted at four-all late in the third period before the Bears scored four consecutive times to take control. Dickinson scored with game-winner with two seconds left in the third period.

Mike Hanlon (Haymarket, Va.), the school's all-time leading scorer (174 points), added three assists in the victory. Hanlon leads the league in assists (24) and total points (47) while the Bears are 19-1 in their last 20 games dating back to last year.

Ryan Crompton (Frederick, Md.) earned the win after stopping 13 shots while Mars Hill's Ryan Kearney (Tallahassee, Fla.) suffered the loss despite making 14 saves.
Lenoir-Rhyne next hosts Belmont Abbey on Saturday, April 1, at 1:00 p.m., at Moretz Stadium. Mars Hill, meanwhile, faces Coker on the road in Hartsville, S.C., in a league contest on Sunday, April 2, beginning at 2:00 p.m.
