Hartsville, S.C. – The Lenoir-Rhyne Men's Lacrosse Team (3-1, 1-0), ranked No. 14 in NCAA Division II, opened South Atlantic Conference play with a statement victory over Coker (1-3, 0-1), 21-7, Saturday afternoon on the road.

Will Remsen (Baldwin, N.Y.) added five goals as the Bears won their third straight contest.
Coker was led by Garrett Kilgore (Fayetteville, Ga.) with a pair of goals and an assist and Brooks Long (Mount Laurel, N.J.) added two assists in the setback.
Coker ran off five straight goals to cut a large Lenoir-Rhyne lead to 12-7 late in the third period but the Bears responded by scoring the final nine goals of the contest.

Ryan Crompton (Frederick, Md.) earned the win after making nine saves while Coker's Anthony Malik (Knoxville, Md.) made 16 saves in goal despite being tagged with the loss.
Lenoir-Rhyne returns home to face Brevard in a South Atlantic Conference game on Tuesday night beginning at 6:00 p.m., at Moretz Stadium. Coker, meanwhile, plays Brevard on road next Saturday at 3:00 p.m.
