Harrogate, Tenn. – The Lenoir-Rhyne Softball Team (41-8, 13-3), ranked No. 24 in NCAA Division II, swept a South Atlantic Conference doubleheader from Lincoln Memorial (21-20, 4-12), 7-5 and 8-6, Friday afternoon at Neely Field. In addition, the Bears stretched their winning streak to 11 games.
Game One – Lenoir-Rhyne 7, Lincoln Memorial 5 (eight innings)

Dakota Keller (Mooresboro, N.C.) broke a four-all tie with the game-winning, two-run home run in the top of the eighth inning as the Bears rallied from a 2-0 deficit to take the victory.

Sydney Landreth (Disputanta, Va.) added three hits and two runs batted in while sophomore
Brandi Parks (Roaring River, N.C.) improved to 20-2 on the year after pitching over six innings of relief.
Lincoln Memorial's Dakotah Fraley (Walkersville, Md.) hit a solo home run and totaled three hits and three runs batted in despite the loss. Lincoln Memorial's Kelsie Hocutt (Wendell, N.C.) fell to 0-2 after taking the loss.
Game Two – Lenoir-Rhyne 8, Lincoln Memorial 6

Mackenzie Cates (Efland, N.C.) hit a home run as part of a four-run fourth inning which gave the Bears the lead for good in the sweep of the Lady Railsplitters.
Lenoir-Rhyne sophomore outfielder
Erin Boone (Creedmoor, N.C.) led the way offensively for the Bears, totaling two hits and three RBI in addition to a two-run double. Sophomore
Ty Triplett (Valdese, N.C.) (10-2) earned the win in relief for the Bears.
For Lincoln Memorial, Fraley (two hits and two runs batted in) once again paced the offense but Brianna Taylor (Ooltewah, Tenn.) (13-10) was tagged with the loss.
Lenoir-Rhyne returns to action on Wednesday, April 19, at 3:00 p.m., in a league doubleheader against Queens beginning at 3:00 p.m. Lincoln Memorial hosts Mars Hill in a conference doubleheader next Wednesday at 2:00 p.m.
