Misenheimer, N.C. – The Lenoir-Rhyne Baseball Team (19-16) fell to Pfeiffer (17-18) by an 8-5 score Tuesday night at Joe Ferebee Field.
The Falcons, which squandered a 5-0 advantage, broke a five-all tie in the bottom of the seventh inning thanks Gauge Gantt's (Archdale, N.C.) game-winning, RBI single.
Jordan Eckard (Catfish, N.C.) added a two-run home run in the first inning for Pfeiffer, who defeated Lenoir-Rhyne for the second time in a week.
