Harrogate, Tenn. – The Lenoir-Rhyne Women's Soccer Team (4-2-1, 1-1-1) was able to pull out a 1-0 victory over Lincoln Memorial (4-4, 0-3) in a South Atlantic Conference match Saturday afternoon on the road.

Rachel Fischer (Clifton, Va.) scored the lone goal of the match – her second straight contest with a score – at the 82:28 mark of the second half as the Bears picked up a badly-needed victory.

Alayna Morris (Westminster, Md.) earned her third shutout of the year while the Bears held a 17-2 advantage in shots taken.
Lincoln Memorial's Brooke Taylor (White Pine, Tenn.) suffered the loss in goal despite stopping four shots and allowing just one score.
Lenoir-Rhyne returns home to face Lees-McRae Wednesday at the Moretz Sports – Athletic Complex on Wednesday beginning at 7:00 p.m. Lincoln Memorial, meanwhile, hosts Albany State Tuesday at 1:00 p.m.
