Charlotte, N.C. – The Queens University of Charlotte Men's Basketball Team (17-1, 9-1), ranked No. 4 in NCAA Division II, held on to defeat Lenoir-Rhyne (7-9, 5-5) by a 70-63 score on Thursday night in a South Atlantic Conference game at the Curry Arena and Levine Center.

STATS OF THE GAME:
• Lenoir-Rhyne was led by junior guard
Cory Thomas (Louisville, Ky.) with a game-high 18 points off the bench while junior guard
Djibril Diallo (Conakry, GUINEA) added 11 points, four assists and three rebounds in the loss.
• Queens' Todd Withers (Greensboro, N.C.) finished with a team-high 17 points and hit four of the Royals' 10 treys on the night. Mike Davis (Brunswick, Ga.) added 13 points for the home team.
• Despite the close game, the Royals never trailed in the contest and scored the final three points to hold on for the win. Queens also shot 50 percent (26-of-52) from the field.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
• Lenoir-Rhyne senior guard
Reed Lucas (Greensboro, N.C.) scored 10 points in addition to two treys to increase his career point total to 1,046, moving up to 47th on the school's all-time list.
