Hickory, N.C. – The Lenoir-Rhyne Women's Basketball Team (11-9, 5-7) came out strong and played as a team with four players scoring in double figures Wednesday evening at Shuford Memorial Gymnasium in a 72-54 victory over Coker (6-11, 3-8) in South Atlantic Conference action.

STATS OF THE GAME:
• Lenoir-Rhyne junior guard
Kendall Toineeta (Cherokee, N.C.) led the Bears with 16 points, four assists, two steals and one block in an impressive all-around contest.
• Junior forward
Madi Suddreth (Taylorsville, N.C.) added 14 points, senior guard
Justyce Swango (Virginia Beach, Va.) totaled 13 points and junior guard
Ashley Rodriguez (Orlando, Fla.) rounded out the double-digit scoring with 11 points in addition to three treys for the Bears. Suddreth added 10 rebounds to complete the double-double.
• Coker's Erin Houser (Orangeburg, S.C.) was the only player in double figures for the Cobras, finishing with 14 points.
• The Bears were efficient from three-point range, hitting six-of-14 attempts for a 43-percent clip. LR led by as many as 22 points – 51-29 with 4:06 left in the third period – and scored 19 points off turnovers in addition to 22 points in the paint.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
• Lenoir-Rhyne increased its winning streak to three games.
• This is Suddreth's first double-double since a 13-point, 14-rebound effort in a 67-51 win over UNC Pembroke on December 10, 2017.
• Rodriguez now has four straight 11-point games.
• Coker lost for the fifth consecutive contest.
