Hickory, N.C. – The Lenoir-Rhyne Women's Soccer Team celebrated Senior Night with a convincing 8-0 thrashing of Shaw on Friday night. The Bears put up the most goals in a game since scoring nine against Mars Hill on October 7, 2015.

STATS OF THE MATCH:
• The Bears wasted no time getting on the board, scoring just 2:23 into the contest. The Bears would score twice in the first 5:18 of the matchup to take the momentum and run away with the victory.

Abbie Brown netted her second hat trick of the season, scoring her three goals in 48:40 of action. Brown scored twice in the first half and completed the hat trick early in the second half to run her season total to 14 scores.

Christina Shimshock recorded two assists in the victory.

Alexis Werve for the final 15:31. Prior to that substitution, Sterling played every minute in goal this season.
