Box Score CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Lenoir-Rhyne Men's Basketball Team continued its torrid start to the 2018-19 season with an impressive 29-point victory at Johnson C. Smith on Saturday afternoon. The shot over 50 percent from the field and behind the arc to top 100 points for the second time this season.

STATS OF THE GAME:
• Five different players scored in double figures for the Bears, led by 20 points from
Mason Hawks off the bench. Hawks went 5-of-8 from long range and 6-for-10 from the field. Hawks was one of a handful of hot shooters as LR buried 14 3-pointers on 27 attempts.

Cory Thomas added 17 points and five boards, while
Djibril Diallo tallied 14 points, six boards and three assists.

Emmanuel Wembi finished with 11 points and eight boards in 15 minutes of action.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
• The Bears committed just eight turnovers in the game and held a 45-40 advantage on the boards. The LR defense held the Golden Bulls to just 38.7 percent shooting.
• This is LR's second win by the score of 101-72 on the season. The Bears topped Young Harris by the same score in the season opener.
