HICKORY, N.C. - The Lenoir-Rhyne Volleyball Team saw its Senior Night spoiled by Carson-Newman in the regular season finale on Friday night by a final score of 3-0. Prior to the match, the Bears honored seniors Angelica Arroyo, Bailey Cloninger and Jessica Funk.

STATS OF THE MATCH:
•  Freshman setter Helen Hamilton came one dig shy of a double-double, finishing with 23 assists and nine digs. 
•  The offense was led by Arroyo who finished with 13 kills and Taylor Prall added seven.
•  The Bears hit just .101 as a team, including a -.054 figure in the third set. 
•  Megan Oldenberger led the visitors with 14 kills and Marnie Streeter added 10. 

BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:
•    Tonight marked just the third home loss of the season for LR who sit at 7-3 inside Shuford Gym. 
•    The Bears can still host a SAC Quarterfinal match on Tuesday depending on the outcome of tomorrow's Carson-Newman/Mars Hill game. A win by the Lions would give the Bears a No. 4 seed and a home game.
