STATS OF THE GAME:
• The Bears were led by a season-and-career-high performance from freshman
Madeline Hardy, who led all scorers with 21 points – 13 in the first half alone. The only other Bear to put up a double-digit scoring effort was senior
Kendall Toineeta (17). Hardy added 14 boards for her first career double-double.
• LR came into the game as an elite free throw shooting team, but only hit 50 percent of their shots (7-of-14) from the free throw line.
• Neither team shot it well as the Bears limited the Trojans from deep (4-of-18 for 22 percent) and LR only hit four of its 17 attempts (23.5 percent).
• The lone category the Bears held the advantage was in overall shooting percentage, 40.7 to 39.7.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
• The Bears loss ended the four-game winning streak and gave them their first blemish on the road, now standing at 3-1 in true road games.
• With the win the Trojans have a perfect 3-0 mark in SAC play.
