Hickory, N.C. – The Lenoir-Rhyne Baseball Team (10-3) couldn't hold a four-run advantage in suffering a 6-5 setback to Young Harris (6-5) Tuesday evening at Bears Field.

STATS OF THE GAME:
•    Lenoir-Rhyne took a 4-0 lead after one inning play highlighted by a three-run double by redshirt freshman third baseman Will Jones (Clayton, N.C.).  Junior catcher Zack Shoemaker (Colfax, N.C.) added a solo home run – his first of the season – despite the loss for the Bears.
•    For Young Harris, Logan Worley (Griffin, Ga.) hit a two-run single while Rudy Gaona (Laredo, Texas) hit the game-tying triple and later scored on a wild pitch – both in the top of the seventh – to help the Mountain Lions prevail.
•    Young Harris' Jake Tomelevage (Suwanee, Ga.) (1-0) pitched three scoreless innings for the win while Michael Livingston (Suwanee, Ga.) threw a scoreless ninth frame for his first save of the year.  Lenoir-Rhyne sophomore Brett Fulk (East Bend, N.C.) (0-1) was tagged with the loss.

•    Lenoir-Rhyne saw its four-game winning streak come to an end.
