Anderson, S.C. – The Lenoir-Rhyne University Women's Tennis Team (8-3, 1-1) suffered a 6-3 loss to Anderson (5-6, 1-2) in a South Atlantic Conference match Saturday afternoon at the Trojans Tennis Complex.
Lenoir-Rhyne was led by junior
Emily Murchland (Mount Victoria, NEW ZEALAND) and freshman
Sanne Janssen (Maastricht, NETHERLANDS) despite the loss. Both players earned wins at singles and doubles for the Bears.
Lenoir-Rhyne next faces Wingate in a South Atlantic Conference match on Wednesday, March 21, in Wingate, N.C., beginning at 2:00 p.m. Anderson, meanwhile, hosts league-foe Queens Sunday at 2:00 p.m.
