Hickory, N.C. – The Rollins Women's Lacrosse Team (10-2), ranked No. 11 in NCAA Division II, downed Lenoir-Rhyne (4-7) by a 15-6 score Sunday afternoon at Moretz Stadium.

• The Tars, winners of nine straight games, were led by Kallie German (Centreville, Md.) and Hannah Ashton (Berwyn, Pa.) with four goals each.
• Lenoir-Rhyne sophomore attacker
Cathleen Gaffney (Allentown, Pa.) paced the Bears with a pair of goals and an assist despite the loss. Gaffney has a team-leading 19 assists on the season.
• In goal for the Tars, Malorie Olin (Skaneateles, N.Y.) totaled 12 saves and earned the win. Lenoir-Rhyne senior All-American goalkeeper
Ines Flueck (Coppell, Texas) made nine stops but suffered the loss.
• Rollins held a 35-23 edge in shots taken.

• Lenoir-Rhyne was taken on its fifth nationally-ranked team this season.
