Hickory, N.C. – The Lenoir-Rhyne Softball Team (32-5, 9-1), ranked No. 12 in NCAA Division II, continued to roll with a South Atlantic Conference doubleheader sweep of Lincoln Memorial (19-15, 2-6), 10-3 and 11-4, Monday afternoon at Bears Field.

Kylee Leonhardt (Lincolnton, N.C.) hit two solo home runs and junior outfielder
Erin Boone (Creedmoor, N.C.) hit a two-run round-tripper and drove in three runs as the pounded out 12 hits in the victory.

Brandi Parks (Roaring River, N.C.) (15-3) earned her 11th consecutive win after going the distance while Lincoln Memorial's Kelsie Hocutt (Wendell, N.C.) suffered the loss.
• Lincoln Memorial's Emma Webb (Knoxville, Tenn.) hit a three-run home run to supply the lone offense for the Lady Railsplitters.
STATS OF THE GAME (Game 2):
• Lenoir-Rhyne senior catcher
Mackenzie Cates (Efland, N.C.) hit a pair of home runs – including a three-run round-tripper in a four-run first inning for the Bears – in the doubleheader sweep. Cates also drove in four runs and now has a team-leading nine home runs on the season.
• Freshman third baseman
Talon LaClair (Statesville, N.C.) added three hits and two runs batted in for the Bears, who totaled 13 hits in the contest. Lenoir-Rhyne junior
Emily Kenley (Charlotte, N.C.) improved to 16-2 on the year after taking the win.
• For Lincoln Memorial, Jacie Pittman (Travelers Rest, S.C.) tallied a pair of hits and two runs batted in while Brianna Taylor (Ooltewah, Tenn.) fell to 8-9 after taking the loss.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
• Lenoir-Rhyne improved to 18-0 at home and has now won 30 of its last 32 games.
• The Bears are now three games up in the league standings.
