Hickory, N.C. – The third-ranked Lenoir-Rhyne Men's Lacrosse Team (15-1, 8-0) celebrated Senior Day in style Saturday afternoon with a 15-7 win over Coker (7-7, 3-5) to claim the South Atlantic Conference Regular Season Championship outright for the third straight year.

STATS OF THE GAME:
• Lenoir-Rhyne opened up a 9-1 advantage just over four minutes into the second period and never let its lead fall under four goals the rest of the way. LR was led by senior midfielder

Shane Gottberg (Mooresville, N.C.) came up big for the Bears, totaling 16 ground balls, scoring once and winning 18-of-19 faceoffs.

Ryan Crompton (Frederick, Md.) earned the victory in goal after making nine saves.
• Coker's Brooks Long (Mount Laurel, N.J.) scored twice but goalkeeper Chris Hagy (Bel Air, Md.) suffered the loss. Hagy made seven saves.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
• Lenoir-Rhyne has won 11 straight games and prevailed in its 24th consecutive league regular season contest dating back to April 11, 2015, a 17-15 setback to Catawba. LR is also 38-4 in its last 42 games.
• LR is ranked No. 1 in the first NCAA Division II South Regional rankings of the year.
• With a goal and three assists, Lenoir-Rhyne junior attacker
Joe Buduo (Shrewsbury, Mass.) added to his school single-season records for goals scored (a league-high 55) and total points with 80.
