WOMEN: Catawba (9-7, 4-5 SAC) at Lenoir-Rhyne (9-8, 4-5)
The two teams split last year's matchup and earned wins on the others home court. Despite dropping a 76-70 decision inside Shuford Gym last year, the Bears are 8-2 against the Indians at home over the last 10 matchups.
This will figure to be a low scoring battle as each team is in the top half of the league in points allowed. The Bears rank fourth in the SAC in permitting opponents just 64.6 points per game, while Catawba is right behind LR in allowing 65.9 points. Â

th in the nation in free throw percentage at 89.2% and 14
th in Division II with 88 total assists.
Catawba is coming off a 100-60 thrashing by league-leading Anderson on Saturday. Mercedes Wampler and Keyotta Garris combined for 29 points off the bench but the No. 24 Trojans ran out to a 29-11 lead after the first quarter and never looked back.
Taisha DeShazo leads the Indians in scoring with an average of 13.9 points per night. Talia Barnes (12.0 ppg) and Madison Hallman (10.0 ppg) give Catawba three players in double-digit scoring per game and DeShazo pulls down 7.4 boards a contest.

th place on the all-time scoring list with 16 points. Additionally, Suddreth can leap Brenda Robertson for 11
th place with a 21 point night. With four assists,
Toineeta can move into 7
th place in team history. Toineeta's 319 career assists place her just behind Chrissy Elliott. Toineeta is on pace to break the program record for FT% in a season which stands at 85.9. That record has stood since 1990-91 but Toineeta currently sits at 89.2%. The Bears also lead the nation in FT% as a team, shooting 81.1 percent.
MEN: Catawba (13-4, 6-4) at Lenoir-Rhyne (13-4, 6-3)
It's one of the biggest games of the season for the Bears who enter play in three-way tie for third place. LR and Catawba have identical overall records as well as matching league records. Thanks to a 12-1 stretch, Catawba entered the national polls last week but suffered back-to-back defeats by a total of three points. A late basket by Queens sent the Royals past Catawba 87-86 and a trip to Anderson resulted in an 82-80 loss for the Indians.
The Bears enter tonight's game coming off a loss as well, dropping a 79-68 contest at Lincoln Memorial on Saturday.
Cory Thomas dropped 20 points on the Railsplitters but it wasn't enough as LR suffered its worst shooting night of the season. The Bears connected on just 37.7 percent from the field, the first time shooting below 42 percent from the floor on the year.
The high-scoring duo of Thomas (16.1 ppg) and
Djibril Diallo (15.9 ppg) have the Bears out to one of the best starts in program history. Each of the perimeter players shot over 47 percent from the field and they are the second and third leading rebounders on the team.
Catawba averages 88.6 points per game, the highest scoring mark in the league. Jameel Taylor is the Indians leading scorer, averaging 14.9 points per game. The balanced attack features four players averaging double digit scoring and eight players scoring more than seven points per night.
MILESTONE WATCH: With a victory,
Everick Sullivan would earn win No. 35 as the Head Coach of the Bears.
Bertranda Awana enters play with 75 career blocked shots which places him eighth in program history. Awana is nine blocks away from being inside the top six. Tonight will mark the 205
th all-time meeting between the two programs with LR holding a 112-92 advantage.
