HICKORY, N.C. – The Lenoir-Rhyne Women's Basketball Team went to battle with the Tusculum University Pioneers on Saturday afternoon but came out on the losing end, falling 66-45 in South Atlantic Conference action.

STATS OF THE GAME:
• Senior
Madi Suddreth shined for the Bears, putting up a double-double effort with 19 points and 10 rebounds. This was a game-high in both categories.
• The Bears lost the game behind poor shooting with a 19-of-57 performance from the floor (33 percent) including 1-of-13 (7.7 percent) from beyond the arc. The Pioneers shot 40.7 percent and made 12-of-28 from distance.
• Both LR and Tusculum were the same from the charity stripe, each hitting just six free throws in the contest.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
• The Bears are now an even 3-3 at home and lost two-straight for the second time this season. The first time came at the beginning of the season when they started 0-2.
• Suddreth put up her third double-double of the season and the second in the past three games.
