Murfreesboro, N.C. -  The Bears ended their five-game road trip with their first trip to Chowan in 11 years but it was all Hawks in this one. The hosts struck first in the 21st minute then added three second half goals for a 4-0 win. LR finished the road trip with a 2-3 record.

• Chowan's Sam Hall got the scoring started in the 21st minute with his third goal of the year.
• In the second half, Chowan's Ardon Harrison and Danny Gallegos scored in a four minute span to expand the Hawks lead to 3-0.
• Chowan's Toby Sims scored on a header, off a free kick  to make it 4-0 in the 71st minute.
• Giovanni Dacosta, Andres Ruiz, and Victor Cascon each had a shot on goal for the Bears.
• LR outshot the Hawks, 10-7.
• The game combined for 27 fouls and 8 yellow cards.

BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:  

• It was Chowan's first ever win over the Bears; Bears hold a 4-1 all-time series record. 
• Today's was actually Chowan first ever goals against the Bears who shutout the Hawks the first four matchups. 
• This marks the Bears first time without a goal in back to back games since September of 2017. 
• Bears first visit to Chowan was 13 years ago today, in 2006 during their 19-1-1 campaign: Bears beat the Hawks 9-0 during their 11 game winning streak.
• That 11-game winning streak in 2006 is still the longest in program history.
