No. 8 Women's Soccer Falls to Lincoln Memorial in SAC Semifinal

Matthews, N.C.-- For the second straight year, the Lenoir-Rhyne Women's Soccer Team fell to Lincoln Memorial in the South Atlantic Conference Tournament semifinal. The loss marks the fourth straight for LR at the hands of Lincoln Memorial.

STATS OF THE MATCH: 
  • Despite holding a 17-2 advantage in shots and an 11-1 lead in shots on goal, the Bears were on the wrong side of tonight's result. 
  • Jessica Cravero scored her league-leading 17th goal of the season to give LMU the win. Cravero's goal came in the 70th minute. 
  • Hannah Van Eerden took five shots and Aqsa Mushtaq registered four. Neve Duston put all three of her shots on frame.
