Salisbury, N.C.-  The Lenoir-Rhyne Volleyball Team rebounded with a sweep of Catawba on Saturday afternoon. The Bears have now won six straight games against the Indians.

STATS OF THE MATCH:

• Bears had 8 aces led by Helen Hamilton with a season-high three. 
• Lenoir-Rhyne had a .400 hitting percentage in the first set, their highest since October 4. 
• Taylor Prall led all players with 14 kills. Alannah Thomas had 9 kills and a pair of digs for the Bears.   
• Ashley Hawkins (12) and Rachel Bewick (10) each had double digit in digs for the Bears.
• Jackie Denny added 5 blocks and 5 kills for the Bears.
• Selena Scudder matched her career high with 17 assists. 

BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:

• Bears swept the season series from the Indians; Bears won at home in 4 sets on September 10.
• Bears have won six straight against Catawba; Bears have only dropped 1 set in that time span. 
• The win was the Bears 10th SAC win of the year. 
• Bears with the win moved into sixth place in the SAC standings with four games remaining. 
• Hamilton career high for aces is 4; She accomplished that on three different occasions last year.
