Hickory, N.C.-- The No. 8 Women's Soccer toppled Coker 3-1 on Wednesday evening on senior day to earn their seventh South Atlantic Conference Regular Season Championship. The Bears have the second-most regular season titles in the SAC.

- Aqsa Mushtaq then scored in the 47th minute off an assist from Christina Shimshock putting the Bears up 2-0.
- Mushtaq capped things off for the Bears scoring in the 63rd minute.
- Makayla Barr scored the lone goal for Coker in the 83rd minute 3-1.
- LR outshot Coker 44 (15 SOG) - 2 (1 SOG).
- LR led Coker in corner kicks 6-0.

- LR is now 10-0 at home.
- The Bears secured sole possession the 2019 SAC regular season title with this win today and Wingate tying with Catawba.
- The last time the Bears won the regular season title was in 2016 in Gary Higgins second year as head coach.
