GREENVILLE, Tenn. – The Lenoir-Rhyne Women's Basketball Team fell back to .500 overall in an 82-57 defeat at Tusculum on Saturday afternoon. The Pioneers shot a scorching 63.2 percent from the 3-point line, going 12-for-19 from deep.

STATS OF THE GAME:
• Unfortunately, the Bears caught Tusculum on the wrong night as the hosts were on fire. On top of the 3-point proficiency, Tusculum was 14-of-16 from the charity stripe. 12 of the Pioneers 28 field goals on the day came from long range.
• Three different players scored 12 points for the Bears.
Kennedy Weigt,
Madeline Hardy and
Madi Suddreth all chipped in a dozen points with Hardy and
Ashley Rodriguez each grabbing seven boards.
• The Bears went cold in the second half and shot just 23 percent in the final 20 minutes including a 0-for-7 from beyond the arc.
• Tusculum's Kendrea Duke went off for 21 points on 9-of-18 shooting and Yolizma Cupidan finished with 14 points and nine boards while playing all 40 minutes.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
• LR was coming off a huge 66-62 win at home against Wingate prior to today. The Bears are 2-2 over their past four.
• Five players scored in double digits for the Pioneers.
• The 82 points allowed is the third highest total given up by the Bears on the season.
