HICKORY, N.C. – The Lenoir-Rhyne Women's Basketball Team battled the South Atlantic Conference's top team on Saturday afternoon but fell by a final score of 69-63 inside Shuford Gym on Saturday afternoon. The win is the 19th in a row for the Trojans who have a three game lead in the conference standings over Wingate.

STATS OF THE GAME:
• The Bears had a trio of players lead the team in scoring with 12 each:
Madeline Hardy,
Karlie Bearden and
Kendall Toineeta. Hardy ended up dominating on the glass with 13 rebounds, giving her a double-double on the afternoon.

Kennedy Weigt led the Bears with three made three pointers in the game.
• Lenoir-Rhyne outscored the Trojans in the paint 30-22 and off the bench, 25-21. Anderson was more efficient from the field as they made 43.9 percent of their shots taken (25-of-57) compared to Lenoir-Rhyne's 39.4 percent (26-of-66).
• Anderson had two score in double digits: Madison Baggett (16 points) and Alexy Mollenhauer (13 points). Mollenhauer grabbed 10 boards to give her a double-double in the game.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
• Hardy's double-double is her fourth of the year. The freshman from Madison, N.C. enjoys going head-to-head with Anderson. In the first matchup this season, Hardy recorded her first career double-double with 21 points and 14 boards.
• The Bears fell to 4-6 at Shuford Gymnasium this season.
