CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Lenoir-Rhyne Men's Tennis Team saw its seven game winning streak come to an end against No. 21 Queens in South Atlantic Conference play on Wednesday afternoon.

"We came to play and competed well this afternoon," said Head Coach
Tom Rees. "More importantly, we are coming away with one or two lessons we can learn moving into our next match."
HOW IT HAPPENED
Queens took the doubles point, sweeping all three spots. None of the wins came easy for the Royals, who won by scores of 6-4, 6-4 and 6-2.
In singles action,
Paul Lenz grabbed the Bears lone victory of the afternoon in the number six slot. Lenz won a three-set thriller by scores of 4-6, 6-4, 6-2. In first singles,
Hamed Gandouz competed against Julian Bosch who is ranked No. 13 in the Southeast Region but came up a bit short, falling 6-2, 6-2.
