HICKORY, N.C. – The Lenoir-Rhyne Women's Basketball Team celebrated their five seniors as they played their final home game of their careers inside Shuford Gymnasium. The Bears came out victorious 58-55 over Lincoln Memorial on Saturday, launching them into the No. 4 seed heading into the South Atlantic Conference Tournament on Wednesday.

STATS OF THE GAME:
• Three Bears put in double-figures in scoring as
Madeline Hardy lead the team with 14, followed closely by senior
Madi Suddreth with 13, including six of the team's final 10 of the game to secure the victory.
Kennedy Weigt who added 10 herself.
• LMU was led by Griffith twins, Emily with 18 and Rachel with 13 points on the night.
•
Kendall Toineeta had more assists than points, 9-8, and adds on to her historic career in assists as she came into the game leading the SAC in assists per game.
• The back-and-forth home finale featured a defensive battle that saw eight ties and 12 different lead changes.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
• The seniors honored tonight all received the start in the contest and combined for 26 of the team's 58 points.
• With the win, the Bears secured the No. 4 seed in the SAC Tournament, meaning the Bears will play host to Newberry on Wednesday March 6 with a time to be determined.
• Lenoir-Rhyne ended the regular season on a four-game win streak. With the win their home record is above .500 at 7-6 and they increase their overall win total from 2017-18 by one game and their conference record by two from the same season.
