HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The Lenoir-Rhyne Women's Tennis Team put a 6-1 victory in the books to record its sixth-straight win on Saturday night over Tiffin University (Ohio). Tiffin was ranked No. 10 in the Midwest Region heading into today's match.

Tom Rees. "Four of the singles lines were won comfortably against decent opposition, and it was great to see Diana battle back to clinch in three sets."
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Bears earned the doubles point with a clean and easy sweep. The Bears earned wins by scores of 6-3, 6-4 and 6-1.
The No. 1 and No. 2 singles for the Bears came away with easy victories,
Marta Escanero Funes with the 6-1, 6-2 win while
Gemma Southwick came away with the 6-1, 6-3 win.
Diana Babinets showed the fortitude of an LR Bear, as she fell in the first set before coming back to win in three, 6-7, 7-5, 10-3. Ulia Ponomareva dropped the only match of the evening to Tiffin's Emily Sim by a count of 7-5, 4-7, 10-6.
