HICKORY, N.C. – The Lenoir-Rhyne Bears Club has announced their 2019 Bears Club Fan Experience Raffle in which 12 winners will be awarded one-of-a-kind experiences. This yearly fundraiser has been greatly enhanced from previous versions with better prizes and greater odds of winning. As always, all ticket proceeds will benefit Lenoir-Rhyne University student-athlete scholarships.

"We appreciate the leadership of the Bears Club Council for spearheading our annual spring raffle fundraiser," stated Athletic Director Kim Pate. "This spring raffle has been instrumental to support athletic scholarships for Bears student-athletes for all twenty-two sports. Over the years it has made a huge impact for Bears Athletics."

"The Bears Club Spring Raffle is always a huge success, but this year we've taken an extra step to enhance the fundraiser by offering twelve outstanding prizes," said Ingrid Smith, Bears Club Board Member. "Buying a raffle ticket not only gives you a chance for an unbelievable experience, but it also goes directly towards our student-athlete scholarship fund."
 
The raffle Grand Prize offers the ultimate experience with winners being able to choose from either a trip for two to the ESPYs or a Hilton Head Golf/Spa Getaway for Two, other prizes include; spending a day as a guest of Carolina Panthers Defensive Backs Coach and LRU alumnus Perry Fewell, attending a Tennessee Men's Basketball in Knoxville as the guest of LRU Alumni and Vols Head Coach Rick Barnes, spending a day as the guest of the Clemson Tigers Football Team and many more.
 
With 12 winners being selected, the odds of winning are greater than they've ever been. A maximum of 500 tickets will be sold with each ticket being sold at $100. The raffle drawing will take place on April 12 during a Bears Club membership Social at the Blowing Rock Ale House in Hickory for 5-7 p.m. Prizes are transferrable and winners do not have to be present to win, yet those in attendance at the drawing will have the option to select any available prize left to be awarded.  Also, the first 100 people to RSVP and attend the Bears Club Social event will receive a $20 gift card courtesy of Custom Design Group to purchase exclusive LR Bears team apparel. 
 
Raffle tickets can be purchased in a multitude of ways. You can purchase online here or from any Bears Club Council member. You can also buy tickets from any LR head coach, Bears Club Council member, or directly from the Bears Club office.
