JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn.– The No. 33 Lenoir-Rhyne Men's Tennis Team dominated an overmatched Carson-Newman squad to come away with a 7-0 victory over the Eagles on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Bears ran through doubles play with a clean sweep to grab the early 1-0 advantage. The Bears won by scores of 6-1, 6-3 and 6-3 and never looked back.
It was more of the same in singles play as Carson-Newman proved to be little competition for the Bears. LR won each match in straight sets to come away victorious.
Tales Miranda earned the win at the number one spot and improves to 4-1 in the first line on the season.
Rhodri Atkinson followed suit in second singles and
Josh Lazenby won in third.
Shane O'Dea,
Lewis Scott and
Paul Lenz all closed out their individual victories for the Bears.
