MONTREAT, N.C. - The Lenoir-Rhyne Men's and Women's Outdoor Track and Field Teams closed out their 2019 regular season on Thursday evening at the Last Chance Meet hosted by Montreat College.
Saidah Hardwick improved her NCAA ranking at the meet, running a 55.18 in the 400-meter which topped her previous qualifying time of 55.88.
Other highlights included:
Kylie Dahlberg recording an all-time best in the 800-meter, finishing in a time of 2:16.71 and
Essence Newkirk also recording a career-best run in the 100-meter hurdles in a time of 14.86.
Paiton Fair placed second in the 800-meter, trailing only teammate Dahlberg, crossing the finish line in 2:16.74.
Anthony Brown also took a second place finish with a time of 15.57 in the 110-meter hurdles.
The Bears will return to action on Saturday when they compete at Mount Olive.
